Hola! I am Kaliada, or Kally as my family and friends call me, Founder and Designer of Kaliada Jewelry.

I'm so glad that you're  here!

Here's My Story...

I am a Business Management professional and a self-taught jewelry designer who discovered my gift and talent for jewelry making and design through a very challenging and life-threatening situation.

Few years ago I was diagnosed with breast cancer. After my treatment and recovery, I stepped back from my full-time corporate job and decided to work part-time to spend more time with my family. To keep me from constantly re-living my cancer experience, I chose to spend my extra time doing something I have always been passionate about: starting my own business.

I wanted to find a way to use my cancer experience to empower and inspire others through my messages of positivity, strength, faith, and hope. Why jewelry? I believe that jewelry is that one little thing that has the power to change the way you feel and present yourself to the world.

In 2015, I began designing and handcrafting (with the help of instructional YouTube videos and a pair of pliers from Michaels) my first pieces of  jewelry with the intention to connect with women and empower them to feel beautiful, confident, and unique…all while providing encouragement and financial support in the local community of women who are battling cancer.  What started out as a hobby at my kitchen table has led to markets, an e-commerce site, trunk-shows, charity events, store collaborations, a design studio/showroom, wholesale accounts, and product expansion.

I love that the jewelry I design makes women feel beautiful and empowered —it's that mantra that drives my passion every day.
